Closing Rounds...
IT Round1 closure today. Finally some time to breathe! It's good to see the testing team bays empty. Not for too long, though - ITR2 is starting tomorrow itself.
In the workshop that we had, there was this 'game' where we had to mark a box for each member of our team with colours depending on the way we feel after interacting with him/her - Red for negative, Blue for neutral and Green for good. One of the juniors got all red except for two blues(one of which was from me) and he was feeling quite down for some time. Of course he promptly showed it to others and laughed it off but I think now the others are feeling guilty. I can see that everybody is trying to be nice to him. Also, recently he became the first member to receive a birthday card!
A major event got over last week - our trip to Takli, P's place. We were taking the kid there after more than a year and that too without Aayi. P was very panicky even before the trip started and to make the matter worse, the kid cried throughout the jorney from Bangalore to Hyderabad. Even his favourite aeroplanes couldn't make up for Ajji's absence and he cried himself to sleep that night in Hyderabad. We gave up all hopes and decided to return the next morning. But things improved the next day - the kid kind of got used to the situation and by the end of three days, he had started liking at least some of his newfound relatives. I think he was very happy being the cynosure of all eyes there. Anyway, we got to stay with him for one whole week, that was the best part of it all. I love him!!
My watch has stopped and I haven't even had the time to get a cell for it. Today is the day.
